government

Virginia State Corporation Commission Commissioner Kelsey Bagot was formerly employed by NextEra Energy — the company now building the $1.63 billion MARL transmission line into Loudoun County. She promised recusal from NextEra cases at her January 2024 confirmation. She was subsequently named in a Dominion rate case in 2025. The SCC approves all Dominion rate increases and transmission projects affecting every Virginia ratepayer.

health

Electromagnetic field (EMF) health risks from high-voltage transmission lines. Dominion Energy internal literature confirms childhood leukemia risk, pacemaker malfunction below safety limits, and DNA damage. Directly relevant to Valley Link 765kV and all planned transmission expansion in Virginia.
